Frequently Asked Questions
Shipping & Delivery
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes. We sell and ship internationally. Your order is produced at the print facility closest to your delivery address, so it travels the shortest possible distance to you.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Each piece is printed and prepared to order. Production typically takes 1–3 business days (longer for framed pieces), followed by delivery in 3–5 working days depending on your location. For a more precise estimate for your region, feel free to contact us before ordering.
Will I be charged in my local currency?
Yes. Prices are shown and charged in your local currency — GBP, EUR, USD, CAD or AUD — based on your region.
Will I have to pay customs or import duties?
For most customers this is not a concern. Orders for the EU, UK, Norway, US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand are produced locally and shipped within those regions, so no customs border is crossed and no duties apply. If you are ordering from outside these regions and your order requires international shipping, local customs fees may apply on arrival — these would be payable by you directly to your customs agency, and are beyond our control. Choosing express shipping guarantees duty-paid delivery (DDP) to any country, with all fees already included in the listed price.
Why might my order arrive in more than one parcel?
If you order multiple formats together — for example a framed canvas alongside a print — they may be produced at different facilities and arrive separately, sometimes on different days. Each item still ships at no extra cost to you.
Products & Materials
What paper and materials do you use?
Fine art prints use archival-grade, acid-free paper with a smooth matte finish. Framed pieces use a 250 gsm archival off-white matte paper behind plexiglass glazing. Canvases are printed on a heavy 300–350 gsm cotton-poly blend stretched over FSC-certified wood.
Are your prints archival? Will they fade?
Yes. We print on archival, acid-free media using pigment-based wide-format inkjet technology, which resists fading far longer than dye-based printing when kept out of direct sunlight.
What is the difference between a fine art print, a canvas, and the framed options?
A fine art print is paper only (ready to frame yourself). A canvas is gallery-wrapped over a wooden stretcher, ready to hang. A framed fine art print arrives matted behind plexiglass in a wood frame. A framed canvas is a gallery canvas set within a floating wood frame.
Where do the artworks come from?
Each piece is a faithful reproduction of a public-domain masterwork, carefully restored and prepared for printing. Provenance details — artist, period and original title — are noted on every product page.
Are these original paintings?
No. Orlonzo sells museum-quality fine art reproductions, not original artworks. This is what makes timeless masterpieces affordable to own and display.
Framing & Hanging
What frame colours can I choose?
Framed fine art prints are available in Black, White and Natural Wood. Framed canvases additionally offer a Dark Wood finish.
Do framed pieces arrive ready to hang?
Yes. Framed prints and framed canvases arrive fully assembled and complete with a hanging kit, so you can mount them straight out of the box.
What protects the artwork in a framed print?
Framed fine art prints are glazed with lightweight, shatter-resistant plexiglass and set behind a clean white border (passe-partout) so the full image is shown without cropping.
How do I care for my framed piece?
Keep it out of direct sunlight to preserve the archival pigments, and wipe the plexiglass gently with a dry microfibre cloth. Avoid liquid cleaners.
Orders & Returns
Can I adjust the artwork or size after ordering?
Yes — if you would like a different border width, a borderless full-bleed version, or another adjustment, just let us know within 24 hours of ordering and we will tailor it for you at no extra cost.
Are items made to order?
Yes. Every piece is printed on demand specifically for you, which keeps quality high and avoids waste. This is why a short production time precedes shipping.
What is your return policy?
All prints and canvases are made to order, so we do not accept returns or exchanges for change-of-mind purchases. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or clearly different from what you ordered, contact us within 30 days of receiving it — we will send a replacement at no cost to you, or issue a full refund if a replacement is not feasible. Orders lost in transit are also covered: get in touch within 30 days of the estimated delivery date and we will arrange a free replacement shipment.
My order arrived damaged — what do I do?
We are sorry to hear that. Email us at info@orlonzo.com within 30 days of receiving your order. Include your order number and a clear photo of the damage. We will review it promptly and send a replacement at no charge — or issue a refund if a replacement is not possible. You do not need to return the item.
About Orlonzo
What is Orlonzo?
Orlonzo curates museum-quality fine art reproductions of public-domain masterworks — from Rembrandt and Dürer to Canaletto and Turner — offered as archival prints, gallery canvases, and framed pieces, produced locally and shipped worldwide. Every artwork is carefully selected, digitally restored, and printed to gallery standards.
Where do the artworks come from?
Every artwork in our collection is a public-domain masterwork sourced from leading museum archives. They are then digitally restored and colour-corrected in-house before printing. Each product page includes the artist name, original title, and period so you always know exactly what you are buying.
Are the artworks copyright free?
Yes. All artworks in our collection are in the public domain — their copyright has expired, typically because the artist died more than 70 years ago. This is what allows us to reproduce them legally and make them available to everyone.
How is each piece produced?
Orders are fulfilled through a global network of professional print studios. Your piece is produced at the facility closest to your delivery address, minimising transit time and environmental impact. We use archival-grade materials throughout — acid-free paper, pigment-based inks, FSC-certified wood frames — so every piece is made to last.
Do you have a physical store?
We are an online-only gallery. This lets us offer a far wider collection than any physical space could hold, at prices that reflect print-on-demand efficiency rather than retail overheads.
How can I contact you?
Email us at info@orlonzo.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible. We are happy to help with questions about artworks, sizing, framing, or anything else before or after your order.
Do you offer custom sizes or commissions?
We offer a wide range of standard archival sizes for every artwork. If you need a specific size not listed, contact us and we will do our best to accommodate it. We do not produce commissions of original artwork, but can advise on the best format and size for your space.
